Focus on the Coast Styled Shoot

Old Homestead Farms is a newer wedding venue right outside of Wilmington, NC with acres of horse fields and a grand restored wooden barn. Perfect for the outdoorsy bride that wants a farm style wedding but upscale at the same time. With a large stone fireplace and spiral staircase that make a statement in the reception hall, its easy for any guest to be wowed. The driveway leads to a circle of 250 year old oak trees that frame the estate and create a natural and stunning back drop for saying I DO!
Naturally a fall photoshoot for Focus on the Coast is the perfect occasion to showcase the event space and gorgeous grounds. Drew's inspiration for a wooden wall ties in with the rest of the "natural" style on the farm with shades of yellow, orange, peach, blush and pop of red for a new spin on the traditional fall pallet. Whimsical greenery flows intertwining the clusters of flowers creating the illusion of the blooms are growing through the wooden planks.
Even having to run and take cover in the cars a few times while rain storms pass through, doesn't stop everyone from designing a picturesque styled shoot. The talented Kam Goodrich captured the lovely bride in the most gorgeous lace dress from Camille's of Wilmington. An asymmetrical style bouquet has been in the spotlight for bridal bouquets for the past season and doesn't seem to be going anywhere! Garden roses, double fringe tulips, ranunculus, gomphrena, scabiosa, butterfly ranunculus and textured greenery give this bright and fun bouquet its moment. Being included in this wonderful styled shoot was a pleasure, hope you enjoy!
