Wrightsville Manor - Modern Meets Tropic
Wednesday, November 28, 2018 | By: Eco Chic Blossoms
We brought a "tropical" meets "modern" floral design for Kelsey and Ray’s wedding, on a breezy March day at the lovely Wrightsville Manor. The open venue is the perfect space to host a grand tropical mantle, made of a variety of large palm foliage that became the backdrop for their ceremony. Each side of the aisle stood large, glass trumpet vases with simple arrangements of Kelsey’s favorite flower, calla lilies and palm leaves mixed throughout for a grandiose setting.
Her bridal bouquet was as unique as she is, filled with her favorite flowers in all white with tropical greenery for added texture. Calla lilies, garden roses, cymbidium and dendrobium orchids, along with the stunning anemones with dark centers made everything pop! Her bridesmaids wore all black which was a sleek modern twist to the bouquets.
During a short cocktail hour, the ceremony space was transformed into their reception, where the calla lily arrangements were used as centerpieces on the bar and guest's tables, while small arrangements of similar white flowers adorned the head table that had been draped in palm leaves, and lined with candles. Kelsey and Ray danced the night away with the biggest smiles amongst their friends and family. We are so honored to have been apart of their big day!
